NASA Identifying Candidate Asteroids For Redirect Mission

Hopes To Capture And Park An Asteroid In Orbit Around The Moon

NASA is continuing to push forward with its somewhat controversial Asteroid Redirect Mission (ARM), looking to add potential candidate target asteroids for the program. The robotic mission will identify, capture and redirect a near-Earth asteroid to a stable orbit around the moon. In the 2020s, astronauts will explore the asteroid and return to Earth with samples. NASA says this will test and advance new technologies and spaceflight experience needed to take humans to Mars in the 2030s.

VivaAerobus Selects Airbus As Flight Training Provider

Training Center To Open In Monterrey, Mexico

VivaAerobus, the low cost carrier serving Mexico, has chosen “Training By Airbus” to provide simulator training and courses for pilots, maintenance personnel, flight operations engineers and cabin crews in Miami and Monterrey, Mexico. The 10-year agreement includes more than 25,000 flight training hours for approximately 750 pilots.

Rainbow A luminous arc featuring all colors of the visible light spectrum (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet). It is created by refraction, total reflection, and the dispersion of light. It is visible when the sun is shining through air containing water spray or raindrops, which occurs during or immediately after a rain shower. The bow is always observed in the opposite side of the sky from the sun.
