Has Secured More Than $2 Million In Pre-Order Purchase Commitments
Land survey autonomous drone solution provider Apollo Robotics plans to publicly unveil and demonstrate its affordable Surveyor Version 1 drone platform at CES 2019. The company has already secured more than $2 million in pre-order purchase commitments, and is launching at CES 2019 its 5 Star Partner Development Program for qualified industry participants.
“We are thrilled to unveil at CES 2019 a disruptive and affordable solution that is tailored to achieve scalable digital transformation of today’s labor intensive surveyor business model,” said Rob Cammack, CEO of Apollo Robotics. “Autonomous surveying can be cost prohibitive, time-consuming, and require scarce expertise that is already in high demand,” continued Cammack. “By harnessing exponential technologies including deep learning, 3D digitization, and state-of-the-art sensors, Apollo is addressing this multi-billion-dollar opportunity by delivering the first ever fully automated solution that eliminates current surveyors’ complexity, improving their overall competitiveness and bottom-line,” concluded Cammack.
Apollo believes that by providing early access of its program to qualified surveying and engineering companies, it can jointly revolutionize how professionals gather, handle, and process 3D data. Apollo’s industrial-grade platform is fully automated, designed to fly unmanned, and is readily available for use on-site and on-demand, enabling professional surveyors to access premium aerial data in a faster, safer, more efficient, and cost-effective way.
The company also announced that it has joined Techniplas' open innovation program. Techniplas is a leading global design and manufacturing provider of automotive products and services. Their program is fostering powerful partnerships and delivering ecosystem-wide benefits from shared technologies and domain expertise to create new opportunities within the cognitive connected product and service. As a full innovation partner, Apollo Robotics is exhibiting at CES 2019 within Techniplas' expanding network, which is fast becoming the preeminent hub for industry 4.0 collaboration.
