LOBO Announces 2013 LOBO/Lancair Landing

Event To Be Held In October In Early October

LOBO, the Lancair Owners and Builders Organization, is partnering with Lancair International Inc. to plan and organize the Third Annual LOBO/Lancair Landing. Scheduled for October 4-6, 2013 at the Hilton Greenville in Greenville, SC, and preceded by LOBO’s Ground School on October 3, all are welcome to register for an educational event uniting Lancair owners and other enthusiasts with those who supply and support them.

“This is the third year LOBO and Lancair have teamed up to help Lancair owners learn to more safely operate and maintain their aircraft while fostering relationships with vendors and the general aviation community,” said LOBO Vice-President and Event Co-Chairperson, Claudette Colwell. “This annual event has become an invaluable venue for LOBO members to learn more about their aircraft, to get the latest operational and safety recommendations, to network with suppliers and to meet other Lancair owners.”

Attendees may enroll in a LOBO’s Ground School scheduled for October 3, with topics covering operational safety, first-flight preparation and orientation for non-pilot cockpit companions. Following are two full days of fact-filled forums hosted by subject matter experts, informative vendor presentations and displays, field trips enjoying the local highlights and a chance for proud builders to show off their Lancair aircraft while meeting other Lancair owners, builders and enthusiasts.

Sponsors for the 2013 LOBO/Lancair Landing include Lancair International Inc.; LOBO’s preferred insurance broker, NationAir Aviation Insurance; Aerotronics; Avalon Logistics; Barrett Precision Engines; ASL/Camguard; Cascade Aircraft Management; Champion Aerospace; Continental Motors; Elite Pilot Services; Free Flight Systems; Garmin; Hartzell Propellers; Jeppesen; Pratt & Whitney; Regal Aviation Insurance; RDD Enterprises-Northstar; Risse Racing; Tempest Plus; Vertical Power and Wiremasters.

The Lancair Owners and Builders Organization promotes the safe use of Lancair Aircraft through education, training and fostering communication between members. LOBO safeguards and furthers its members' interests with regulatory agencies, the general aviation community and the public at large.
