RFP: ANN Seeking New Site/Facility For Major Studio Upgrade

It's Official: Aggressive Upgrades For New Airborne Programs WILL Require New Digs

It's been in development for years, but we're getting to a point where we think we can pull off something TRULY REMARKABLE - which will require us to make BIG CHANGES. So... ANN is officially looking for a new home for a major new initiative... hopefully, a permanent one.

We are now in the implementation phases of THE most significant upgrades we've ever undertaken and preparing to make significant operational modifications to accomodate them. As a result, we're currently inviting proposals for a NEW airport/office studio facility to serve as a home base and studio for new programming about to be introduced by the Aero-News Network, Inc., the Aviation World's Real-Time News and Information Service, our Daily Airborne Unlimited programming, our new 'Aero-Doc' documentary division, as well as other Aero-TV/Aero-Verse  productions.

Let's be clear about a few things... we've been looking 'unofficially' for a few months and come up with some OUTSTANDING possibilities already... BUT are still open to other possible options... though, only for a short time because these upgrades are now on the fast track and looking for the right place to start operations.

The successful bid will require an airport friendly community and a (preferably) airport based location where we can locate both an office, and a video production studio, as well as a hangar (optional) capable of hosting GA aircraft. ANN is looking for at least 1200-1500 square feet (or more... if the deal is right) of adaptable office space in a location with access to high-speed data services (High-Speed Fiber, or other High-Speed Internet Broadband availability) and close proximity to the aforementioned airport facilties. Low-crime areas with excellent Security/LEO support are an essential aspect of a successful bid. Special consideration will be given to any building that either includes an adjoined hangar or is otherwise attached to such a structure. ANN's preferred home airport will offer IFR approaches, preferably with precision approach capability, and will reside a reasonable distance from a major airline portal for those staff travel needs that require airline service (God help us). Basic fuel and maintenance services are required at our new home airport, as well, for our aircraft as well as for our visiting guests and staffers.

Probable best estimates of a relocation decision will put us in a position to select, and make a move, in the latter part of 2017/early 2018 timeframe.

ANN's new digs will not house our entire staff since we are an electronic news service that allows many of our staffers to work wherever they have a stable high-speed connection... but initial local staff needs should result in work for at least 6-10 local persons in the near term, and as many as a dozen, for upcoming projects we are now committed to. ANN and its Airborne programs are undertaking a number of exciting new projects and current growth dictates that a number of new staff slots will be created to fill these needed positions. Various economic and other incentives often offered to relocating businesses are certainly welcome, but the primary factor in our eventual decision will revolve around the suitability of the facility and community, to our interests and business preferences -- and a location that will attract the kind of personnel needed to make this effort a success.

Interested parties are invited to send proposals via the email link below...

Addendum: After study, and in consideration of the tax, legal, business climate, and political situations therein, offers from the states of New York and California, will not be considered.
