Partners With US Aviation In TX For Complete Service On Your BRS Parachute
BRS Aerospace (“Ballistic Recovery Systems” or “BRS”) of South St. Paul, Minnesota, USA (BRSI.PK) today announced that it has partnered with US Aviation of Denton, Texas to create a National Service Center that provides new installation, inspection, removal, replacement, and repack services of its whole airframe parachute recovery systems.
Services are provided for General Aviation aircraft that include the Cessna 162, 172 and 182, the Symphony, and all Light Sport Aircraft that take advantage of this life saving technology. The Service Center was established in the central US, minutes from D/FW Airport, to conveniently service the upcoming 10-year service requirements for these GA/certified aircraft and the 6 year service requirements for the Light Sport products.
“BRS Aerospace is constantly trying to focus on how to best reach and service our broad base of customers,” said Boris Popov, founder of BRS. “In anticipation of the growing demand for installations and repacks, we decided to expand the capability of our well-proven technology by providing a satellite location at US Aviation,” Popov added.
US Aviation’s expertise and facility provides space and layout to accommodate new installations, which requires a good understanding of airframe structures. “We are one of the larger Cessna repair centers in the south, and do quite a bit of insurance work, so it is natural to retrofit BRS into Cessna and LSA.” Commented Scott Severen, Director of Business Development at US Aviation. The facility maintains a highly experienced staff, including 24 A&P mechanics and 6 Rotax trained A&P technicians.
