The Academy of Model Aeronautics has published its response to the FAA’s notice of proposed rulemaking regarding the regulating of small unmanned aerial systems, also known as sUAS. The AMA website leads into their response with the following statement: “The Academy believes that the FAA must address and adjudicate the 33,000 plus comments to its interpretation of the Special Rule for Model Aircraft and resolve the issues and concerns presented before moving forward in finalizing the small UAS Rule.” Wing walking is one of the earliest forms of aerial death-defying acts and ANN has learned of the passing of Airshow Hall of Famer Johnny Kazian, w

Customers Can Contribute Money And Miles To Support The Airline's Disaster Relief Partners

United Airlines has announced that it will work with its disaster relief partners the American Red Cross, Americares, Airlink and Operation USA to provide aid to those affected by the earthquake in Nepal. To support the efforts, United will provide up to a total of $50,000 to match donations to these partner organizations from United customers and employees.
