Despite a sluggish economy, 2012 has proven to be a good year for Robinson Helicopter. The company's production for the year was 517 helicopters, a 45 percent increase over the 2011 mark of 356 helos. Garmin has just announced a new series of aviation VHF COM and NAV/COM radios, the GTR and GNC series. Just about the time that you thought that the Kitfox couldn’t get anymore capable, we find out that it can... and it is! Both the much-praised and Turbo-Charged Rotax 914 and the new Fuel Injected 912iS are now available for one of the most popular SportPlanes of all time

Will Meet Standards For European Single Sky Initiative

A new series of aviation VHF COM and NAV/COM radios, the GTR and GNC series, has been announced by Garmin. As the replacement products for the popular SL 30 and SL 40 models, the GTR series COM transceivers and GNC series NAV/COM radios include a breadth of new features to reduce pilot workload, while also offering an affordable solution to meet the requirements of the 8.33 kHz channel spacing mandate recently enacted by the European Union under the Single European Sky (SES) initiative.

Citilink, the low cost subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia has placed a firm order with Airbus for 25 A320neo. The contract, signed in December 2012, represents the first direct purchase by Citilink from Airbus. It follows an order placed in 2011 by Garuda Indonesia for 15 A320ceo and 10 A320neo aircraft for operation by Citilink.
