TMA-21 Lifts Off Just Shy Of 50th Anniversary Of First Manned
Spaceflight
One week shy of the 50th anniversary of the first human
spaceflight, NASA astronaut Ron Garan and Russian cosmonauts Andrey
Borisenko and Alexander Samokutyaev launched to the International
Space Station at 1818 EDT Monday from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in
Kazakhstan.
Governor Signs Bill That Offers Incentives For Hiring Aerospace
Engineers
Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin has signed into law a measure
reestablishing tax credits for engineers going to work for Oklahoma
companies as well as the companies that hire them. The bill
restores a tax incentive that was put on moratorium last year by
the Oklahoma state legislature.
The crew of the United Airlines A320 which experienced a
near-total electrical failure and the smell of smoke in the cockpit
landed the plane safely with virtually no instruments, relying
on specific instructions from ATC to get them back to the New
Orleans Airport.
More Than 30 Fatally Injured When Aircraft Apparently Missed
The Runway
Only one person out of 33 passengers and crew members survived
when a United Nations plane went down Monday at the main airport in
the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
The first M-346 aircraft produced for the Italian Air Force
(ITAF) had a successful first flight last Thursday. The ITAF has
designated the plane as the T-346A.
"Falcon Heavy will carry more payload to orbit or escape
velocity than any vehicle in history, apart from the Saturn V moon
rocket. This opens a new world of capability for both government

Either of the two points on the earth's surface where the
