TECNAM has received a Type Certificate for the P2010 TDI from EASA. The P2010 TDI certification adds the Diesel/JetA1 engine to the family of Avgas and Mogas-powered TECNAM aircraft. The P2010 airframe, with its composite fuselage design and the all-metal wing and stabilator, has proven to be a good match for the Diesel engine. After 196 days living and working in Earth’s orbit aboard the International Space Station, NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy returned from his third space mission Wednesday, Oct. 21, with cosmonauts Ivan Vagner and Anatoly Ivanishin of the Russian space agency Roscosmos. The crew departed the station at 7:32 p.m. EDT Wednesday and landed just south of the town of Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan, at 10:54 p.m. (8:54 a.m. Kazakhstan time). Passenger Went On To Explain That Collision With The Dock Was Inevitable
On October 4, 2020, about 1505 eastern daylight time, a Cessna 182P amphibious airplane, N6506M, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident in Beechhurst, New York. The private pilot and the pilot-rated passenger in the copilot seat were seriously injured, and a rear-seated passenger was fatally injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight.
