NASA selected SpaceX, El Segundo, Calif. and
Rocketplane-Kistler, Oklahoma City, to develop and demonstrate
commercial orbital transportation services that could open new
markets and pave the way for contracts to launch and deliver crew
and cargo to the International Space Station.
ANN REALTIME REPORTING 08.18.06 1555 EDT: Aero-News has learned
that in a move company officials say is expected to be temporary,
San Antonio, TX-based jet maker Sino-Swearingen handed about 100

Could this be the blow that knocks Northwest Airlines out of the
fight? On Thursday, the carrier's flight attendants union won in
court the right to strike the airline, even though Northwest is in
bankruptcy.
Once again, a proposed "open skies" aviation pact between the US
and the European Union was dealt a blow this week... when US
officials warned that planned changes to airline ownership and
control rules would not be ready in time for a crucial EU meeting
set for October.
The next time you're on a commercial airline flight... take a
