The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and the Aviation
Festival is returning to Wichita (KS).
In fact, the show, which had been scheduled for September 25-26
has been expanded. KC and the Sunshine Band ("That's the Way I Like
It") will perform at Jabara Airport on Friday, September 24th.
Wichita leaders say they want to build on the success of last
year's show in a city known for its deep roots in general and
business aviation. The show will include a night-time performance
by the Pepsi Aerial Entertainers -- an act city marketing leader
Jessica Johnson says was a big hit last year.

The Canadian Snowbirds will headline the show as part of their
34th season. And unlike last year, show organizers hope the weather
