The Designated Pilot Examiners Model Code of Conduct (DPEMCC) has been released by the project’s Permanent Editorial Board. Developed by a team of aviation professionals, and drawing upon decades of research and experience, the Code offers recommendations to advance professionalism and safety in the conduct of practical tests. Support for the DPEMCC has been considerable.

The first F-15EX completed its initial flight in St. Louis Feb. 2. The fighter jet took off and landed from St. Louis Lambert International Airport, Missouri. It was announced in August 2020 that the 173rd Fighter Wing will begin transitioning as the F-15EX formal training unit in 2024. “Being selected as the F-15EX formal training unit is an outstanding mission for the 173rd Fighter Wing,” said Col. The MCP480B Project Is One Of Several Successful Collaborations Between Enstrom and AEM

Development is now complete on Anodyne Electronics Manufacturing Corporation’s MCP480B Master Caution Panel project, which was awarded to the Canadian avionics manufacturer by Enstrom Helicopter Corporation (Enstrom) last year. Enstrom selected AEM to design and manufacture the new annunciator panel for their flagship aircraft, the 480B helicopter in July of 2019. Integrating the MCP480B will make the Enstrom aircraft even more desirable to their customers and end-users.

Purpose Of The Accident Flight Was To Conduct Wildlife Damage Management Operations

On February 5, 2021, about 1400 mountain standard time, a Hughes OH-6A, N6639R, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. The pilot sustained serious injuries and passenger sustained minor injuries. The helicopter was operated as a public use flight. The pilot reported that the purpose of the accident flight was to conduct wildlife damage management operations. While maneuvering at a low altitude over hilly terrain, the pilot noted a loss of rotor rpm. The pilot maneuvered the helicopter down a draw in an attempt to regain rotor rpm.

ILS Approaches

An approach system permitting simultaneous ILS approaches to airports having parallel runways separated by at least 4,300 feet between centerlines. Integral parts of a total system are ILS, radar, communications, ATC procedures, and appropriate airborne equipment.
