Oklahoma Republican Senator James Inhofe is one of the champions of General Aviation in Washington, D.C. And the author of many of the bills that have been a benefit to GA pilots, including the Pilot’S Bill Of Rights. Inhofe’s latest effort is the Plane Act … “Promoting The Launch Of Aviation's Next Era”. And what's next may be the establishment of a national center for the advancement of aviation. One of the early eVTOL aircraft is already a museum piece. Opener has donated a first-generation manned BlackFly vehicle to the EAA Aviation Museum. Quest Aircraft Announces Completion Of Fleet Deal

Company Acquisition By Dahar Expected To Be Completed By The End Of 2019

The Quest Aircraft Kodiak displayed within the Aerocet booth at Airventure is a part of a recently completed three-Kodiak fleet deal with Dimor Aerospace, the German-owned company that owns Waco Aircraft. Dimor will be equipping their Kodiaks for humanitarian aid and will be operating throughout Brazil, along the Amazon. Two of their Kodiaks will be outfitted with Aerocet 6650 composite floats. Delivery of all three aircraft is complete, and Dimor is in discussion with Quest about future aircraft.

Acting FAA Administrator Dan Elwell held the annual "Meet the Boss" session at AirVenture Thursday. Elwell, who has been acting administrator since January of 2018, brought a generally positive message to the EAA members and others gathered at Theater in the Woods for the session.
