Airborne 11.06.17: Jackson Hole Aero-Politics, CAF, Crazy Drone Vid

The Jackson Hole Airport board has voted unanimously to purchase the assets of Jackson Hole Aviation  meaning that there will not be a competing FBO at the airport. Consultants told the board that purchasing the business will avoid redundancies and save space at the airport, as well as provide a revenue stream. While board member Jerry Blann, said he normally would not support such a move, favoring the private sector and competition, the purchase is in the best interest of the airport. The Commemorative Air Force has consolidated the online fundraising efforts of its various units into an program it is calling "The 12 Planes Of Christmas" in an effort to maintain its aircraft. E
