New Research Of 2005 Landing Shows A Complex Planetary Surface

New analysis shows that the European Space Agency's Huygens probe, ferried to Saturn's moon Titan by NASA's Cassini spacecraft, bounced, slid and wobbled its way to rest in the 10 seconds after touching down on Titan in January 2005. The research shows that moon's surface is more complex than previously thought.

California Man To Spend 25 Years In Prison For Shooting At A Police Helo

Pleaded No Contest To The Shooting In Van Nuys

A 20-year-old who admitted shooting into an LAPD helicopter in 2011 has been sentenced to 25 years in prison. The Los Angeles County, CA, District Attorney’s office says that Danny Anthony Lopez, who was 18 at the time of the incident, was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Martin Herscovitz after he pleaded no contest in August to two counts of assault on a peace officer with a semiautomatic firearm.
