Richard Daley, has tried to use the recent Washington ADIZ scare to
his benefit. The Friends of Meigs have just sent us a response,
which we reprint, unedited in it's entirety... as it says it ALL
The Lindbergh Foundation is holding a very special aviation
event in Minnesota this year. The "Legends of the Sky: Stories of
History-Making Aircraft and Their Pilots" hangar party will be held
on Friday, May 20, at the Golden Wings Museum at the Anoka County
Airport (ANE) in Blaine, Minn., from 6:30 - 10 p.m.
Lt Col Gary Aldrich, USAF (Ret), a
Test Pilot Instructor at Edwards Air Force Base, CA, joins the EAA
Young Eagles Web chat next Wednesday evening, between 1900 and 2000
CDT. Aldrich is a 22-year Air Force veteran and graduate of the
USAF Test Pilot School. He has flown more than 40 different types
of military and civilian aircraft ranging from the Goodyear Blimp
to an F-16. Aldrich also serves president of EAA Chapter
