Eclipse Pilots Can Choose Either Training Center Or On-Site
Option
Linear Air, an Eclipse 500 air-taxi and training provider, and
High Performance Aircraft Training, a provider of unusual attitude
training and jet transition instruction, announced Monday that the
companies have teamed up to provide Eclipse 500 pilot training.
Boeing and partner Bell Helicopter delivered two MV-22 Osprey
Containerized Flight Training Devices (CFTD) to the U.S. Marines at
Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar in California in the last
quarter of 2009.
The DOT announced last week that after conducting a thorough
review it has found that Virgin America remains a U.S. citizen and

Wallace D. ("Dip") Davis, age 86 of Marengo, Illinois, died on

Indicates that an aircraft's fuel supply has reached a state
where, upon reaching the destination, it can accept little or no
delay. This is not an emergency situation but merely indicates an
emergency situation is possible should any undue delay occur.
Used under certain conditions to provide a pilot with an
altitude to be used in the event of two-way communications failure.
It also provides altitude information to assist the pilot in
planning.
Not everything that flies has wings, fixed OR rotary. The
Lifting Body design has been around for a long time, but it came
into its own with the Shuttle program.
