Cuts Ribbon On New, Expanded Facility
Professional Aircraft Accessories, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, cut the grand re-opening ribbon and welcomed guests in to see their new 20,000 square-foot expansion Thursday. The addition brings their total facility size to approximately 60,000 square feet and accommodates the growth of the company’s landing gear service area, accessory shop, instrument and avionics lab as well as an expanded machine shop and paint shop.
“This day has been made possible through the collaboration of the public and private sector as well as the support of our parent company Greenwich AeroGroup,” said President of Professional Aircraft Accessories Robert Bial. “We have been in this community since the company was founded in 1997 and the local support we have received has been tremendous. We thank our partners for their efforts and contribution to our vision.”
“The EDC first worked with Professional Aircraft Accessories nearly a decade ago when the company’s success necessitated its move to Space Coast Regional Airport and a bigger facility. Even then, PAA was a cornerstone of Brevard County’s aviation economy,” said Lynda Weatherman, president and CEO of the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast. “Now, as PAA celebrates the opening of its latest expansion, we are reminded of why its presence here has always been so important. As we continue to diversify our economy, companies such as PAA are leading that effort and ensuring that our heritage of aerospace excellence continues.”
Professional Aircraft Accessories has been located on the main runway at Space Coast Regional Airport (KTIX) in Titusville, FL, since 2003. Bial said to date, they have added 65 employees due to the expansion.
