Able Flight Scholarship Programs Get Boost From Signature Flight Support

Signs On As 'Major Sponsor' For 2nd Annual Benefit Event

Signature Flight has signed on as a major sponsor of Able Flight's scholarship program. Able Flight is a non-profit organization that provides flight and aviation career training scholarships to people with physical disabilities.

Signature will join Embraer Aircraft and Sennheiser Aviation as host sponsors of Able Flight's 2nd annual benefit event to be held at Fantasy Of Flight near Orlando on April 20th, 2013. Their sponsorships will cover all expenses for the event allowing all proceeds to go directly to Able Flight's scholarship fund. In addition to sponsoring the event, Signature will serve as the host FBO for attendees at their Orlando facilities at the Orlando International and Kissimmee airports.

"Able Flight's mission aligns well with Signature's to support the development and sustainability of the pilot community, whether flying to fulfill an aspiration or as a profession," said Patrick Sniffen, Vice President of Marketing for Signature. "Able Flight's many successes in helping people with disabilities learn to fly gives all of us a touchstone in our personal and professional pursuits to achieve that which some would call impossible."

“Signature Flight Support is known not only for the outstanding service it provides, but as a company that believes in giving back to aviation and the communities it serves," said Able Flight’s Executive Director Charles Stites. "We are honored to have them join us in bringing inspiring people into aviation. This benefit event is not an awards show with a lot of speeches; it's a celebration of success. It's a party with great music and great food, and most of all, wonderful people in a spectacular setting, and all for a great cause."
