Erickson Expands MRO Capabilities Beyond The S-64

Putting Unique Set Of Capabilities And Experience To Use Supporting A Variety Of Legacy Products

Erickson Air-Crane Incorporated said at HELI-EXPO in Anaheim, CA that it is further expanding its MRO services with a focus on legacy platforms.

For the past several decades, Erickson has been the main MRO service provider for the S-64 and CH-54 helicopters, for its own fleet as well as other operators around the globe. From major component and engine repairs and overhauls, to complete airframe inspections, retrofits or upgrades, Erickson’s services fully address the needs of legacy platforms, including supply chain management, component manufacturing and reliability engineering.

Erickson is now putting its unique set of capabilities and experience to use supporting a variety of legacy products, such as the SA330J Puma, the Bell214 or the Turmo engine. Erickson President and CEO Udo Rieder said, “As the S-64 OEM, a large fleet operator, and a fully integrated MRO service provider, Erickson has a unique perspective on legacy product support. We are excited to put our knowledge and capabilities at the service of operators around the world operating legacy helicopters.”

Erickson will continue to provide its services out of its main location in Central Point, Oregon, as well as its subsidiary in Lucca, Italy. A mobile repair team is also available for on-site assistance around the world.
