Recommends Inspection, Replacement If Necessary

The FAA has issued a Special Airworthiness Information Bulletin (SAIB) due to an airworthiness concern on XtremeAir Models XA41 and Sbach 342 (manufactured by XtremeAir) airplanes. These airplanes are not type certificated in the United States, and thus not addressed by airworthiness directive action.

Aeroflot has introduced a new Aeroflot Group member - the consolidated Far Eastern airline "Aurora". e-Go Microlight Airplane Makes First Flight

Single-Place Aircraft Promises 100 Knot Cruise, Range Of 300 NM

A break in the weather in the U.K. October 30th allowed the team at e-Go, which is developing a single-place microlight airplane, to conduct its first flight. According to the company blog and Facebook page, test pilot Keith Dennison flew the canard-configured airplane for about 30 minutes to an altitude of 4,000 feet at a speed of 80 knots. A second, one-hour flight followed the initial flight.
