Missouri Flight School to Lease Space for Aviation Program
Moberly Area Community College of Missouri will lease 1,900 square feet of space at the Columbia Regional Airport for the cost of $15 a sq. ft. The school will also be responsible for buildout costs, adding about $287,320 to the tab. The new expansion will go to support the College's Aviation program, which will lead to an associate's degree in applied sciences. Of course, the flight training is the real prize in the program, like most - students will come away with at least their Private Pilot, Commercial, Instrument, and Multi-Engine tickets, with an elective CFI course offered to cap it all off.
