SUBJECT: Airworthiness Directive 2008-10-13
SUMMARY: We are adopting a
new airworthiness directive (AD) for the products listed above.
This AD results from mandatory continuing airworthiness
information (MCAI) issued by the aviation authority of another
country to identify and correct an unsafe condition on an aviation
The MCAI describes the unsafe condition as: A rupture of the
alternator and vapour cycle cooling system pulley drive assembly as
reportedly been found. Such a failure could lead to the loss of the
alternator and vapour cycle cooling systems and could also cause
mechanical damage inside the powerplant compartment.
This AD requires actions that are intended to address the unsafe
condition described in the MCAI.
