Promises No 'Cookie Cutter Approach' For Members
Bob Mackey of Falcon Insurance, and Agent for EAA, announced at
Oshkosh Tuesday EAA Insurance is dedicated to making sure every
individual under their plan has the correct and most affordable
insurance on the market.
"We recognize that there is not one plan out there that fits
all. Therefore we do not try and apply a cookie cutter approach to
our members," said Mackey. "Instead, we try and handle
everyone on a case by case basis, keeping the aircraft and the
pilot in mind."
He we on to discuss EAA Insurance commitment to safety and
education, and how they are working with industry to help develop
programs, such as transition training programs, which can
facilitate lower insurance costs.
As ANN reported in April, EAA insurance now covers trikes,
including passenger as well as liability insurance. In the months
since, EAA also added some additional coverage such as off-airport
landing insurance and increased medical coverage.
All this comes with no additional costs to EAA members...
another example, the group says, of how EAA insurance is keeping up
with the times and reaching out to those members in need.
Mackey also noted due to the popularity of light sport aircraft,
there has been increasing competition within that market... a good
thing for LSA pilots, as more choices help keep costs at a
minimum.
For your convenience here at Oshkosh, Falcon and EAA have
provided kiosks at EAA exhibit hanger B and at the welcome center,
where potential customers can input some information and get a free
quote, along with a free hat.
