Aero-News Featured Aero-Casts For Monday 02.08.10

Surveying The Pilot Population

ANN's Paul Plack talks with CFI Bob Miller of Over The Airwaves, who found in a survey of his readers that 20% were never asked by their primary instructors to take a stall all the way to the break, and 47% were not asked to demonstrate it in their checkrides, depite the requirement in the Private Pilot Practical Test Standards.

This feature is in addition to our daily news briefing -- available in either a quick "Touch And Go" format, or an expanded Aero-Briefing -- where you'll hear these stories:

Snowpocalypse brings the airlines to a standstill on the east coast.

Five private jets are damaged when snow crushes a hangar.

And a Cirrus pilot may have collided with a glider's towline.

...And more
