Fly-By-Wire Legacy Completes 95 Minute Test Flight

The newest bizjet in the Embraer Executive Jets' stable, the Legacy 450, made a successful first flight Saturday. Embraer test pilots Eduardo Camelier and Eugênio Cará, supported by flight test engineer Carlos Kobayashi, flew the aircraft for one hour and thirty-five minutes, conducting the evaluation of handling and performance characteristics.

Russian Helicopters, a subsidiary of Oboronprom, part of State Corporation Rostec, AgustaWestland, and Turbomeca have agreed to continue working together on core joint projects. Inner Marker A marker beacon used with an ILS (CAT II) precision approach located between the middle marker and the end of the ILS runway, transmitting a radiation pattern keyed at six dots per second and indicating to the pilot, both aurally and visually, that he/she is at the designated decision height (DH), normally 100 feet above the touchdown zone elevation, on the ILS CAT II approach. It also marks progress during a CAT III approach.
