With Principal Base of Operations in Weymouth, MA, Wayfarer is a premier aircraft management and charter firm of various aircraft types ranging from Gulfstream, Global Express, Falcon, Challenger, Learjet, Hawker-Beechcraft, and Cessna.

Acton comes to Wayfarer from Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings where he was Director and Divisional Controller of Flight and System Operations. He was
responsible for the financial close process, budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation of the divisions. In addition, Mr. Acton provided business and operational intelligence to support the company’s strategic initiatives. In a prior position held at Atlas Air, Acton was Director of Asset Management and Operational Reporting in the Technical Operations division. In that role, he was responsible for the strategic acquisition, disposal and management of the company’s spare parts inventory.

"Craig Acton complements the senior management team at Wayfarer with a very bright mind, solid experience, and the kind of 'can-do' energy that characterizes the Wayfarer organization,” said Bill Koch, CEO of Wayfarer Aviation. “Craig's leadership of the Finance and Accounting groups will further enhance Wayfarer's management service offerings, providing the industry's highest standards of service quality and integrity. We will value his contributions in this key role as Wayfarer's CFO."

Before joining Atlas Air, Acton worked as a consultant for the largest consulting firm dedicated to the air transport industry. There he provided a wide range of management consulting services assisting clients in financial analysis and planning, valuations, business plans, start-ups and industry/economic analysis. Mr. Acton began his career as an auditor for Ernst & Young's Audit & Advisory Business Services group.

“Wayfarer has quickly established itself as an industry leader by delivering unparalleled value to our customers that offers them turnkey solutions to achieve their goals and objectives,” said Craig Acton, Chief Financial Officer for Wayfarer Aviation. “It is all about performance, providing our customers with superior service and an exceptional experience – this is what differentiates us from our competitors.” Acton received a Bachelors of Science in Economics from John Carroll University and a Masters of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.
