Upgraded: David Best

Signature Flight Support Names David Best to Lead European Operations

Signature Flight Support...David Best has been named Managing Director, Europe.

Operating from the aviation services company's base at London Luton Airport in the UK, Best will focus on growing and expanding Signature's fixed base operation (FBO) network throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Best has also been tapped to sit on the board of Signature's joint venture in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Signature, Best was responsible for creating an FBO network in Europe and was involved in numerous acquisition and joint venture activities.

He has also served as Commercial Director - Execair and as Group Business Development Manager for the Menzies Aviation Group, UK.    

"Everyone at Signature is excited about the expansion opportunities that await us in Europe and beyond. I'm confident that David Best will rise to the challenge of helping us grow in these overseas markets. He clearly has the necessary experience and he shares our vision of providing the European business aviation community with the industry's very best capabilities, customer service, facilities and safety measures," said Beth Haskins, CEO of Signature Flight Services.

Best is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde with a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's of business administration.
