In a letter to members of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots
Association posted on the group's website, AOPA President Phil
Boyer called on all pilots to help combat the FAA's funding
proposal on Capitol Hill.
It is certainly a mark of pride inside the halls of American
Airlines' headquarters in Fort Worth, TX the airline has never
filed for bankruptcy. At a time when nearly all its domestic rivals
succumbed to Chapter 11, American held its head high... but that
may prove to hurt the airline down the road.

The plan for NASA's next generation space vehicle is starting to
come together. On Friday, the space agency issued a request for
proposal for the Ares I launch vehicle upper stage element. Ares I
is the launch vehicle that will transport the Orion crew
exploration vehicle and its crew and cargo to low Earth orbit.

Crandall. A White House official told the retired Army helicopter
pilot and Vietnam Veteran he would soon receive the Medal of Honor
-- the highest military medal in the US.
As I drove to my third flight lesson at Aviator Air in Grand
