California Company Completes Work On Flying Saucer Mock-Up
As far as we know, Yuba City (CA) is nowhere near Roswell (NM).
But both can lay claim to reports of flying saucers in the
vicinity. The only difference is, the Yuba City flying saucer is
most assuredly real.
Survivor: "It Came Apart Before It Hit The Ground"
Five people were still missing Wednesday afternoon after a
Corporate Airlines Jetstream 32 went down near Kirksville (MO)
Tuesday evening. Of the 15 people on board the aircraft, at least
two survived. Authorities on the scene have so far confirmed eight
The National Transportation Safety Board Wednesday released the
following update on its investigation of the October 14, 2004 crash
of Pinnacle Airlines flight 3701 in a residential area in Jefferson
City, Missouri, about three miles south of the Jefferson City,
Missouri, airport. The crash resulted in the deaths of the two
crewmen. The airplane was destroyed by the impact forces and a post
crash fire. There were no passengers onboard, nor were there any
injuries on the ground.
As a precautionary measure, the Air Force has limited its fleet
of 15 CH-149 Cormorant helicopters to search and rescue (SAR)
operations and test flights only until more details are known about
cracks that were found on the tail rotor half hubs of Cormorant
CH-149908. The decision was made Saturday night.
It was a massive rescue effort that involved dozens of people
from St. George in Australia's Queensland Territory. In the end,
however, the were unable to save a 49-year old diabetic pilot who
had taken off from Bundaberg Tuesday, heading west.
