The term “quadcopters” started when the first toy versions of the 4 rotor vertical lift type models hit the market. Horizon hobby uses the term multirotor because quadcopters have now progressed into more than 4 rotors.

 

Haley starts off by explaining that most people start small and then move up to the larger units. The variety available now is expanding rapidly, and the technology of automatic stabilization used in these units makes them very easy to fly. As Haley talks about the products, the video shows the various types of multirotor products that are available.

 

Quadcopter’s are the “new guys in town,” and many of the quadcopter shown in the video are specialized in capabilities, and the most popular of the capabilities is the inclusion of a video camera.
