FAA Extends NOTAM For Ben Gurion International Airport

Adds 24 HoursTo Ban On US Flights To Tel Aviv

The FAA has issued another Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) informing U.S. airlines that Tuesday's NOTAM flight remains in effect for Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport for up-to-an-additional-24-hours while the FAA continues to monitor and evaluate the situation.

Garmin’s “Team X” is dedicated to experimental aircraft avionics and they have just announced a new 7-inch G3X Touch display option for experimental amateur-built and light sport aircraft. The 7-inch G3X Touch display features an infrared touchscreen and the size is perfect if height and width constraints are in play. Additionally, owners wanting multiple displays have the option of installing up to three displays, using any combination of 10.6-inch or 7-inch G3X Touch displays. The FAA has issued a Special Airworthiness Information Bulletin pertaining to certain Piper Models PA-46-310P, PA-46-350P, PA-46R-350T, and PA-46-500TP airplanes. The SAIB indicates that the airplane may develop cracks in the engine mount where both the nose landing gear (NLG) trunnion and the NLG actuator attach.
