Dynon, Advance Flight Systems Unveil Jumpstart Kit

ADVANCEDPANEL Lineup Gets New Time-Saving Options for Homebuilders

Dynon Avionics and Advanced Flight Systems showed off their ADVANCEDPANEL Advanced Control Module at Sun 'n Fun 2024, granting home builders a nicely trim, streamlined suite of options to speed up their general hassles of avionics wiring.

The Advanced Control Module, or ACM, can now be bought as part of the ACM Jumpstart Kit, granting a "groundbreaking avionics control center that revolutionizes aircraft electrical system management." It "seamlessly integrates and automates a wide range of common aircraft avionics, aircraft systems, wiring, and electrical peripherals to save time, simplify installation, and enhance safety", and was once only found as part of the more expensive ADVANCEDPANEL Complete package.

Essentially, it's a one-stop hub that helps even the most wiring-inept builder make sense of everything they need to interconnect for fully-functioning avionics, a single, well-labeled box that explains and organizes everything behind the panel. That modularity should benefit builders who are creating their own panel with avionics of their choosing. The ACM Jumpstart Kit is available for both the Dynon SkyView HDX and AF-600 series for a price of $3,450.

“For years, Dynon and Advanced avionics have been the easiest to install by a large margin owing to factory-made harnesses, SkyView Network cables, a suite of builder support accessories, and of course the ADVANCEDPANEL Complete," said Michael Schofield, Director of Marketing for Dynon. "This is the next step: The Advanced Control Module (ACM) is now available to all Dynon and Advanced homebuilt customers, allowing pilots to get airborne while benefiting from the ACM’s ability to save time, simplify installation, and enhance safety."
